  1. The original CD of the album, Sunday Concert, with 11 songs, is out of print. The import CD, Sunday Concert Plus, with 5 bonus tracks, is a far better choice and a wonderful CD. I sell it from my Lightfoot store here: Sunday Concert Plus. See bonus track details below.
  2. Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar – Gordon Lightfoot Notes Compared to the mastering found on The Original Lightfoot, the album proper has more stereo separation (the bass is noticeably more prominent in the mix) and runs over 30 seconds longer on this release/5(3).

  4. Gordon Lightfoot's concert on Bear Family is a "must have" for even the most casual fan of Lightfoot for at least two reasons: 1) the CD features five songs, good ones, that have never been released anywhere else and 2) it is a chance to hear the wondrous lead guitar work of Red Shea, the most facile, melodic and sympathetic acoustic guitarist I have ever heard/5(23).

  8. Lightfoot's first studio album. A pretty matter of fact recording and features Lightfoot on guitar along with a second acoustic and string bass. Although a studio recording the performances are 'live' so to speak and represent Lightfoot's live set up for many years to come. Early hits such as 'Early Morning Rain' and 'Steel Rail Blues' are here.
  9. Also in , Lightfoot recorded 11 songs in the studio; they were eventually released on records, 10 of them on the AME album Early Lightfoot, released in There were five singles, some released in the 60s (four I believe), and one released in at about the same time that the LP Early Lightfoot .
